You will find negative reviews from people who have issues with the device not working as expected or trouble with returning the product to the company. Lexie seems to be responsive to the issues and replies directly to the customer to try and resolve the problem.
You can contact Lexie by phone or email and by video or chat through the app. You can also schedule times for a Lexie representative to call you, if you prefer. If you need extra help or information, there are self-help and instructional videos on the Lexie website and in the app.
Cost
One of the main reasons people who need hearing aids don’t buy them is because of the cost. Lexie Lumen hearing aids are very affordable and they offer a flexible payment option. You can make a one-time payment of $799 for the hearing aids, or you can choose their payment plan. Either way, shipping is free inside the continental United States.
Lexie Payment Plan
With the payment plan, you will have to pay a $50 activation fee upfront, and then Lexie will charge you $49 a month for 24 months. You will end up paying more for the hearing aids over the course of the two years, but you will receive a few more perks than if you paid for them all at once. The payment plan option allows you to get all the accessories, like batteries, you need delivered regularly to your home. Your hearing aids are also covered under a protection plan in case you lose or break them. And Lexie will let you cancel the plan and send the hearing aids back any time during the two-year time frame.
Lexie Rewards Program
Lexie has a rewards program through its app. You can sign up and set monthly goals for things like how long you wear your hearing aids each day. When you achieve your goals, Lexie will reward you with points that you can use on any purchase you make through the Lexie app. Or, if you choose, you can earn a five percent discount on your monthly subscription.
Warranty and Returns
Lexie Lumen hearing aids have a one-year warranty, but you can return them within 45 days of purchase for a full refund. The company does recommend, but not require, that you use them for a full 21 days before you decide whether to make a return. To begin the process, you will have to call the Lexie contact center first to get a return authorization number and some other forms emailed to you to fill out, print out and send back with the hearing aids.
Your refund will only cover the cost of the hearing aids – you will be responsible for any cost associated with shipping them back to Lexie. And if you bought the hearing aids from a retailer, you would still have to ship them back to Lexie since retailers aren’t equipped to accept returns. You will have to return everything that came with the hearing aids in its original packaging and the devices can’t be damaged, scratched, or dirty.
